アンクル・スクルージ
私はよくいろいろな記事をウィキペディアに読みます。最近、スクルージ・マクダックというディズニーキャラを調べました。そのキャラは６０年前くらい漫画に登場したことは分かりましたが、今も「アンクル・スクルージ」漫画が作られたことは分かりませんでした。私の娘は楽しむかなと思ったので、昨日、コミックショップに来て、その漫画を１冊買いました。その後、娘と朗読したとき、彼女は少し面白そうでした。もっと漫画を買うかもしれません。
I often read various articles on Wikipedia. Recently I read an article about the Disney character Scrooge McDuck.* I knew that he was introduced in comics about 60 years ago, but I didn't realize they were still making them. I wondered if my daughter might be interested in them, so yesterday, I went to a comic shop and bought an issue. Afterward, when I was reading it to her, she seemed to enjoy it. Perhaps I'll buy her some other comics.
*Note: What I really wanted to say here was something like "As I often do, I was reading various articles on Wikipedia and came across an article about Scrooge McDuck." However, I wasn't sure how to say "As I often do, ~". If you have a good translation, that would useful. Thank you!
