輸入されたビール
最近、日本の大手ビールメーカのビールがアメリカで簡単に買えると書きました。キリンはアメリカで醸造されていますが、他の日本のビールは瓶に「輸入」が書かれています。もちろん、日本から輸入されるでしょうね。ただ、違います。サッポロやアサヒはカナダに醸造しています。アメリカで瓶に「輸入」を書けるんだと思います。日本に造られたビールと北米に造られたビールは、味が違うかなと考えます。
意訳です。
Recently, I wrote that you can easily buy beer from the major Japanese breweries in Japan. Kirin has a brewery in the US, but the other beers say that they are "imported" on the bottles. Imported from Japan, of course, right? Well, not quite. Sapporo and Asahi actually brew their beers in Canada. I suspect it's so they can write "imported" on their bottles when they sell in the American market. I wonder if there is a difference in flavor between the beers brewed in Japan and the ones brewed in North America?
