今日、私は英語の記事を読んで珍しい言葉を見つけました。言葉は正確に使われないではないと思ったので、辞書で調べました。しかし、私の思った意味は正しくなかったです。「Alacrity」という言葉は単に急速の意味だと思いましたが、急速のニュアンスだけがあります。本物の意味は速くて陽気な準備なさまです。私は英語も頑張ります！
Today I read an English article and came across a rare word. I looked the word up in the dictionary, because I thought it had been used incorrectly. However, the meaning I thought it had was wrong. I thought the word "alacrity" simply meant "fast," but "fast" is just a nuance of the word. It really means the quality of being briskly and cheerfully ready. I'll do my best at English as well!
