本のプレゼント

最近、私は本を傷つけるのが嫌いな話を友達としました。ページを汚したり、本に書いたりするのが嫌いです。例えば、蛍光ペンで単語や文などをハイライトします。ただ、今日、掃除をしていたら、発見に例外を思い出させました。ギフトの本にメッセージを読むのが好きです。古本のクックブックで５５歳になる友達へのメッセージが書かれていました。

I was recently talking to a friend about how I don't like to damage books in any way. I don't like to get anything on the pages and I don't like to write anything in books, such as highlighting words or sentences. However, while doing some cleaning today, I happened to be reminded of an exception. I enjoy reading messages people write in books that they give as gifts. Someone had written a message to a friend who was turning 55 in a cookbook that I had bought secondhand.
