斑点のケーキ
以前、溶けたバター事件について書きましたが、そのとき、ケーキを作りませんでした。日曜日に作りました。一ヶ月ほど前、面白いケーキのレシピを見つけました。厳密に言えば、レシピではなく、飾り方の記事でした。記事は斑点のコマツグミ卵の感じでケーキを飾る説明が書かれていました。飾り方しか書かれていたので、他に所にケーキと衣のレシピを探しました。結局、ケーキは美味しかったですが、衣はあまり美味しくなかったんです。衣は歯ごたえは素敵ですけれども、バターしかが味わわれませんでした。しかし、ケーキは美しいと思いました。

The Speckled Cake
I wrote about about my melted butter incident in my last entry, but at that time, I hadn't actually made the cake yet. I made it on Sunday. About a month ago, I found an interesting cake recipe. Or rather, it wasn't really a recipe, but a way to decorate a cake. The article explained how to decorate a cake so that it looked liked a robin's speckled egg. Because it was just decorating instructions, I had to find the cake and frosting recipes elsewhere. In the end, the cake itself was good, but the frosting wasn't very good. The frosting had a good texture, but it just tasted like butter. Regardless, I thought the cake looked pretty.
