クリスマス・プレゼント

今年のクリスマス、妻は「私が壁に掛けられるアートを作る」のが欲しいです。以前、私は墨絵を作りましたが、長時間しなくて、私の絵がそんなに美しくないと思いますが、妻は私のアートが好きなので、求めました。私は墨絵を作りたくなかったですが、何も作るのを分かりませんでした。しかし、今日、インターネットを閲覧しながら、面白いアートを発見しました。絵の形を作るために、ペンキを塗れた板に釘を打ちます。色とりどりの糸は釘から釘までつながれます。結局、美しいアートがあります。私はまだ何の絵を作ろうかわかりませんが、進みました。

This Christmas, my wife wants me to "make something that she can hang on the wall." Previously, I've done sumi-e, but it's been a long time, and I didn't think my pictures were that great, but my wife likes my art, so she made the request. I didn't want to paint a sumi-e painting, but I didn't know what else I could make. However, while browsing the internet today, I came across some interesting art. You place nails into a painted board to form the outline of a picture. Then you tie colorful string from nail to nail. Eventually, you have beautiful art. I still don't know what I want to make, but I've taken a step closer.
